Couple of pictures from a consumer unit upgrade today. Existing old type fuse board with fuse wire circuit breaker's removed, new 25mm meter tails installed from previous 16mm and new 16mm earth also installed in place of previous 10mm. All entry holes through the consumer unit are fitted with fire rated grommets to current regulations. All relevant certification issued along with rectification work for a few minor issues with the existing installation.
